About

Stavrog, illustrator and writer.
I was born the very year the expression 'Clear Line' was devised by illustrator Joost Swarte, during the 'Tintin in Rotterdam' exhibition (1977).
I was probably destined to draw in this particular graphic style.
I'm a great admirer of Edgar P. Jacobs, Hergé, Tardi, Floc'h and, of course, Ted Benoit.
I've worked for Jacques Martin, the creator of Alix and Lefranc, but I'm currently focusing on my own private work - and doing some extra illustrations or pages for customers or fans.
